CIT Program

10th - 12th graders (Fall 2010)

The Coaches In Training (C.I.T.) program is designed to give participants professional development opportunities through supervised and mentored employment. C.I.T.’s will secure, prepare and execute lacrosse-based programming in existing summer community camps, and earn a stipend while doing it! Space is limited and applicants will go through an interview process to get hired.

  • Participants who are entering grades 10, 11, and 12 in the fall of 2010 are eligible to apply to work as C.I.T.’s. This group will run clinics, implement outreach programs, and bring lacrosse to new people across the city of Boston.
  • First Session will be from July 6th to July 30th. Training dates are June 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. Second Session will be from August 2nd to August 27th, and training dates will be July 30th, August 2nd, and 3rd. There will be 6 C.I.T. positions available for each session.
  • Applicants must be current Boston Bulldogs, or must have participated in at least two previous spring seasons with MetroLacrosse. Current spring season attendance will be a factor in the application process.

Please note: Players who have conflicts in their schedule during training or during either session must make those clear in their application. The C.I.T. program is a full commitment, and there is little flexibility in the schedule. Your availability for the full session and training will impact the status of your application.

Registration for the C.I.T. Prgram is now closed.
