MetroLacrosse Leadership Academy
Are you a leader? Do you want to be a leader? If so, then put your skills to the test and apply to be a part of MetroLacrosse’s 2010 Leadership Academy. You have the opportunity to improve your leadership skills on and off the lacrosse field. The daily activities will include intense lacrosse practices, interviews with community leaders, city wide field trips, and lastly opportunities to implement your own leadership skills. Leadership Academy is available to participants entering 8th-10th grade in the fall of 2010. Leadership Academy will be held at Chelsea High School three days a week, and Moakley Field (South Boston) two days a week. Selected Participants will receive a calendar prior to the beginning of the season outlining their daily schedule.
MetroLacrosse Leadership Academy Participant Requirements:
- Participants entering 8th-10th grade in the fall of 2010
- Must have played on the Tsunami, Avalanche, or Bulldogs in the Spring 2010
- Can commit to ALL four weeks Monday – Friday, July 12th – August 6th
- Online application deadline has been extended to June 11, 2010
Selection Process:
MetroLacrosse Leadership Academy team members will be selected based on the content of their application. Late applications will not be accepted. Each team can hold no more than 15 participants per gender, so getting your application in early is recommended. Selected participants will be notified by June 18, 2010.
