Coach Across America

Coach Across America, a proud member of AmeriCorps, is the first nationwide effort to mobilize highly trained Corps Members (CMs) as Sports Based Youth Development (SBYD) experts and coaches. Coaches will serve, teach and support under-resourced youth, as well as the youth development organizations that provide valuable programming in their vulnerable communities and come together from diverse backgrounds for a demanding youth coaching experience.

During their time of service, coaches will be assigned to work with the MetroLacrosse program staff, where they will coach, manage and recruit youth lacrosse in the Boston area.

All Coach Across America Program Assistant positions for 2011-2012 are filled at this time.  MetroLacrosse seeks to hire its Coach Across America positions by the end of the summer each year.  If you are interested in being considered for the 2012-2013 program year, please email your resume and a thoughtful cover letter to jobs@metrolacrosse.com with "Coach Across America" in the subject line.
